Friend that is getting bullied but won't get help.
So one of my friends is getting bullied. It looks like she doesn't even know it. But she does. These 3 girls are teasing her and throwing things at her.

When she is with them, she is really nice to them, but they return it with crap. She says she hates them. When we said she should get some help from a parent or a guidance councilor. She said no. She didn't want her parents to get dragged into it.

We have tried everything. Nothing is stoping it. We have no idea what to do. Please help! By the way. This is not like hitting . It is all words.

Bullying is something that really gets under my skin. I was bullied all through school, right up until midway through high school. Now, there's a lot of right and wrong things you can do. The outcomes will all vary on the personality your friend has.

You know her better than I do, so maybe you can take these points and put them to good use.

First off, you need to find out where she really stands in all of this. For my case, I didn't really care what others thought, I mean it hurt don't get me wrong, but I knew better than to let it get to me. Some, however, do let it get to them and it can cause more damage than you know. Ask her how she really feels about the bullying, don't make it sounds as if you're investigating, just ask if it bothers her? If she admits that it is bothering her, some of these steps could be in order.

    1. Tell a teacher; prefferably one that is in the area in which the bullying occurs. NOTE* Telling a teacher could put your friend in a bad situation, and in line for more bullying, try not to make it look as if your friend told on them, but have the teacher catch it themselves, make sure the teacher is aware of this plan too.

    2. Stand up to them; this situation is a lot harder to do, and to do it right. She might not even want to stand up for herself, I know I didn't do it a lot. Standing up to a bully is really the best way to get them to stop, most of the time. In almost all cases of bullying I've been a part of, a third party standing up to the bullies works the best and stops that particular case. It doesn't always stop the entire feud, but if done enough can really help.

If your friend is someone who doesn't want to get involved, and doesn't want to start a fuss, maybe teaming up with a teacher to catch the bullies red handed will work best, and not get your friend directly involved.
