Okay, so I'm a female freshman and I am very tomboy-ish. I grew up playing baseball (8 years) with only guys, so I think more like a guy than I do a girl. Now, I don't really know if it's that fact that I'm really... boy-like or what.. I've gotten the opinion, that guys don't really like waaaay girly girls that much, more than once, and I'm not sure if that's why or not. I'm far from girly, but I'm a little bit of a girl on some subjects.

some more about me would be that I am smart, I guess. I'm in the gifted program, which is called seminar. I guess I'm kind of pretty, I'm told that by some of my guy friends and girl friends a lot. I know how to make people laugh and I'm a great friend. So I don't really get it. I've had a few guys like me in the past, but they are the guys that I prefer to be friends with rather than date.

now, I know you may think I'm too young. But, in my school, people have been dating for three or four years now...

I don't want to sound selfish, I really don't. But I feel like crap when I think about how I've had such horrible luck with guys in the past.. maybe I'm just not "dateable"..

Can anyone give me *any* advice on what I should do to have better luck? Should I try to be girlier? Prettier? Smarter? Any advice is great... =(

My dear, you just keep doing what your doing, and be good at it, and enjoy it.

Just because all the other girls are getting guys, doesn't mean they are happier than you are, but just be yourself, and sooner, or later, a good guy will notice. Don't be impatient, as your in a great position right now, so keep it up.

The girlie girls are a lot more aggressive with themselves, and truth be told, they have their own problems with the guys, but you can't see that, as dating is usually more than holding hands, and looking happy. So don't worry, just be as good as you can be, on the field, and in the classroom.

Read some of the stories here, and be glad you don't have that drama. Don't laugh to hard though, you will.
