My boyfriend and I have been going out for about two and a half months now and we've never kissed. Last night he was telling me about how he is going to get braces soon and how awful it will be when his first kiss is with braces. I told him that I wouldn't mind kissing him before then if it bothered him and he replied with, "Hey if it happeneds it happends, it's not like I'm going to stop it. Goodnight love you" (note- before this he had said he was going to bed). I am so confused as to what his reply meant! It sounds pretty unenthusiastic but maybe I made it sound too much like I was doing him a favor?

You're 14 I'm assuming he is about that age. Maybe he is not ready get in to all of that. What is the rush?

Usually when they say that they are going to bed, they 9-10 times do that for you to say good night and then start talking.
