    W-9 Form:
    How do I know what companies to send the 1099-Misc form to? I work in Accounting, and not sure. The one thing I do know for sure. If a vendor is a person I will need to send them a W9 if my company has paid them over $ 600.00. Can anyone help me please. It would be appreciated. Thank you Janice Sino. What are all the rules? Who should get one and who doesn't need them.

    If the company is a corporation, then NO Form 1099-MISC is required.

    Send the Form 1099 to everyone else.
