I now need to know how to answer question no. 10-Taxable refunds, credits, or offsets of state and local income taxes if my wages for 2005 is $35,179.65. This will help me get my adjusted gross income to fill out my financial aid application for law school. ALL OF YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED :)

    Ale:

If you itemized in 2004 and got a state tax refund, that refund is taxable income because you claimed the taxes withheld in 2004 as an itemized tax return.

If you did not itemize in 2004, then this line should be left blank.
