    Tax Query
If an Indian citizen works for a Canadian company from home in India, is the person eligible for income tax? The salary is wired through the Canadian company.

This is a Canadian tax question, so I do not know about Canadian tax law.

If it was a U.S. company, no U.S. income tax would be due, since the money is earned in India. I suspect the same is true for Canada.

    I agree with ATE.

I would think that since you are living and working in India, you will owe no Canadian taxes.
