Which state tax should I pay
    Hello,
I work in Flordia and my husband works in California.
I share an apartment and my husband rents an apartment in CA.

How should we file for state taxes? Should we file for CA and FL separately?
Also,my emplyer runs my payroll from Wyoming.. Should that be a cause for concern?

    Thanks!

The fact that the payroll is rn from Wyoming is only a matter of concern if the employer considers ONLY Wyoming state when it comes to determine which state to withhold for.

It should not affect you, because neither Wyoming nor Florida have a state income tax!

You should file jointly for BOTH the federal and California state tax returns.

California will only tax your husband's California-based income, because it has NO legal standing to tax your Florida-based income because you do NOT live in California.
