    Son came here on H4 on Dec 17, 2007. Can I claim my son as dependent for 2007
    I came here on H1B on June 2007, and my wife and son came here on H4 on Dec 17, 2007. Can I claim my son as dependent for 2007?

    I don't believe he has been here long enough to qualify as a dependent yet, the time span is something like 182 days, so I don't think you can claim him this time around.
