Social Security tax for H4 visa
    Hello

My wife is on H4. She has received her EAD (Employment authorization document). So she is able to work. Does she needs to pay the Social security and medicare taxes?

    Thanks

Yes, your income is subject to Social Security and Medicare taxes. If you meet substantial presence test, you will file resident tax return.
