    Resident Tax foreign income exclusion
    Hello,

I am a Indian citizen who worked in US for JAn - Mar 2010 , Apr in India and May - Dec 2010 in Singapore. The Singapore pay deputation allowance was net off taxes and all taxes were paid and processed by the indian employer. There is no tax document provided by the employer for Singapore deputation and only for Indian income.

Please advise if I need to show the singapore deputation allowance on 1040 resident alien federal tax for 2011 when married filing jointly with no income for wife.

You were in US from Jan 2010 to March 2010. What visa do you have?
Why you think you are resident of US for 2010?
