    How to get a copy of a prior year's W-2
    How can I get a copy of my W-2 for 2007 without going to the previous employer?:confused:

    Call 1-800-829-1040 to get a copy of your 2007 tax transcript from the IRS. The W-2 information will be in the transcript.

    If you used a tax professional to prepae your 2007 tax return, he/she can provided you a copy of the W-2 as well.
