    SBBT stands for Santa Barbara Bank & Trust Refund Anticipation Loan Program

    It is a program where when you file your taxes though their program, they advance you the funds in a loan ( or a percentage of the return) and the actual return money is deposited in the SBBT account to repay your loan.

    There are several online and commercial programs using Intuit that offers this service

    If it is a RAL, you should avoid it like the plague!!

    Such programs are a complete rip-off!
