    Finding my w2 on-line
    I am trying to find my w2 on-line, the company I was working for went out of business. Is there any way to find a copy of my w2? :confused:

    You have to contact the company or the receiver that took it over or their accountant or maybe their payroll service. They are the ones responsible for filing the W2s.

    Agreed.

    However, if you cannot get a copy of the W-2, you can use your last pay stub as a substitute.

    Further, if you wait until mid-February, you can get the W-2 information from a copy of your tax transcript.
