    Filing Taxes
    I would like to know how to file taxes whe the only job I had all last year didn't take taxkes out of my paychecks. I worked for Vector Marketing and they never explained what or how we should go about it.

    Sounds like you were a contractor not an employee. You should be getting a 1099, you can then use Schedule C to report that income.

    Yes, that sounds like contract work to me.

    If you made less than $600, you have no legal obligation to file.

    Otherwise, a Schedule C and Schedule SE will be needed. You should be able to do the return yourself using tax software, but if you made more than $20,000, it would be advantageous for you to use a tax professional.
