F1 on OPT, SSN and Medicare Deducted!
    Hi,

I started working full time on OPT from June 2006 to Till date.
On my 2006's W2, SSN and Medicare were deducted. This the first time my company hired an F1 student and this is the first time I was hired full time; so miscommunication from both ends left a hole in my pocket.

I updated my company with all the information I found here (Thanks a ton to AtlantaTaxExpert) and they are going to stop deducting SSN and Medicare in the further paychecks but they refused to refund me the SSN and Medicare.

Now the thing is recovering my money from IRS. According to AtlantaTaxExpert; this is what he says:
    1.Fill out the Form 843
    2. Attach The company's refund refusal letter
    3. Attach all the forms
    4. Send it across to IRS.

Please let me know in case I missed anything!
    Thanks to all in Advance!!

You've got it about right. You will need to show you calculations on the Form 843, but that's basic business math.
