Exceeding HSA Limit and Employer contribution
    Hi

I had HSA plan for 1 month in 2013 with Company A. Company A contributed in HSA. It might be HSA limit has exceeded based on number of months in HSA plan.

    What would be advisable
    - take the money from HSA and which forms need to be filled for taxes in this scenario?
    - or keep the HSA account and pay penalty for the excess HSA?

You will need to file Form 8889 to determine how much you were allowed to contribute.

If too much was contributed, get the money back.

Not sure you CAN withdraw the full contribution, only the overage.
