Confused about SSI taxes and earned income
I am single with no dependents and on disability income. I worked part time so I now have some earned income. I am not sure on how to file taxes this year . Could someone please tell me what I need to do?
I do have tax forms from my employer. Since I have worked does this make ke eligible for the earned income tax credit?

You will file tax return if your income is more than the filing requirement. Even if your income is below filing requirement, you should file to get refund of federal taxes withheld and any other credits.

Go to Internal Revenue Service and click Free File.

The critical issue here is the disability income: is it taxable or NON-taxable.

Further, does having the part-time job possibly put that disability income in jeopardy?
