Box 16 does not match box 1
The wages in box 1 is greater than box 16 for GA. I am a resident of GA but I worked in NY state for a couple of months. I am filing NY State taxes too (203 and 203B). Can you please tell me
    1. what amount I should put in line 8 and line 9 for the GA 500 form.
    2. Should the amount in box 16 be my actual state taxable income for GA. Should that amount be entered in line 10.
    3. Should there be any other forms than GA 500 be filled.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Report GA wages on the GA state return and report the NY wages to the NY return... do resident state return for GA and do non resident return for NY. These are tough to do on turbotax so I would get it done in a tax office. Almost all my new clients come in because it's a nightmare.
