    I am a us citizen an my wife a romanian citizen
    I am a us citizen an my wife a romanian citizen she has been here before an work on student visa but we married in Romania an are going thur visa processes now is the ssn she had when she wa here working able to be used was over year since she was issued the number an do I file as married joint/ or separatley? do I need to get her a itin #? I have no idea what to do

    The SSN is probably still good. If so, filing jointly AND electronically is possible.

    A phone call to the Social Security Administration can confirm if the SSN is still good.
