    Am I taxable?
    Frieds,

    I have a company in India. Its an Export Oriented Company registred with SEZ. I have 100% exemption now. It's a partnership company. Is the income I got from an EOU taxable?

    If you are living in the U.S. under a H-1B or L-1 visa, then ALL world-wide income is subject to U.S. income taxes.

    If you are here under a J or F visa, then the India-sourced income is tax-exempt.

    I assume EOU is IOU, a debt instrument. If so, it is taxable if it is U.S.-sourced in ALL cases. If visa is F/J and the IOU is India-sourced, it is tax-exempt.
