I am new to this forum but desperately seeking help with a virus on my computer. I have searched various web sites/forums and I am not alone with this problem.
Most of the time when I connect to the internet I get directed to spazbox.net...
I am running AVG 7.0 on a trial basis sometimes it tells me I have viruses e.g. istbar,loveme,downloader etc also I have run adaware SE as freeware and I always seem to have lots of malware and dataminer infections.
However 1 thing I have noticed which maybe osf help to some people out there is this.
When my system is running slow because of the viruses
When I run task manager and look at the applications
SVCHOST.EXE is running at 90+%

In total there are 4 SVCHOST.EXE's listed under processes and I know that it is a part of windows but this particular version runs at 90+% and mem usage of
31360kb . I am tempted to end/delete but don't have the
Confidence to do so can anyone help me please??

Hey go to www.downloads.com and download
Bazooka scanner. This software will give you details on how to fix your problem. It will show you how to fix the problem in your registry. I also recommend that you download, spybot s&d. hope this helps
