    Email protection
I did download avira, I was just concerned about not having email scanner, they offer that at a yearly price.

In your opinon, do you think that is necessary, or will the main email companies like hotmail, gmail, Yahoo, and juno have a sufficient email protection. Those are the ones I have.

Or if you know of a good free virus protection program that offers email scanning, I am interested in that as well.

    Any tips will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Avira Antivir free edition is what I use and it does a great job. It would catch a email attachment virus so I'm not sutre what this "enhanced" email detection is. Stay with the free version, be careful of your web surfing, don't install any programs obtained by P2P programs and you'll be OK.

Best protection for SPY? [ 6 Answers ]

My husband and I recently got a spy virus on our new computer. We were somehow able to "back-date" the computer, so it made it like it was when we first bought it, and now no more pop-up's... which is good. But sometimes we will try to go to a website and an error message will come up saying we...
