My computer is still messed up after the storm!
I downloaded something, unknowingly it had 80 trojan horses on it. So I deleted and quarnteed them, but because of that I deleted crucial Windows software so my computer wasn't working right, so I wiped out my computer. Since then my computer keeps restarting itself if I don't enter safe mode (I'm in safe mode with networking right now) and it says I only have 24 Gigs on one hard drive, when I know I have 140 Gigs on one and 8 Gigs on a back-up. How do I fix these problems?

My computer specs are as such:
    HP Privilian Notebook PC
    1.8 Dual-Core Intel Processor
    2 Gigs of RAM
    Windows Vista Home Premium

I recommend doing a system recovery.

    Shut the computer off.

Turn it back on and hit F-11 as soon as you turn it back on.

    This should open system recovery.

Do a destructive recovery to out of box state.

This will reformat and reload it back to how it was new out of the box.

It WILL wipe out your files so if you can, you should backup whatever you can, or don't want to loose.

I am so sorry, Mackerni, but doing a Factory Restore is the right answer.

I'm so sorry for your storm.

Be sure to use my "After the Storm" step afterwards and protect yourself!
