    What is a computer tracking software?
    Hi, I was on an avitar chat room, and someone said that this was the computer tracking software, and you have been tracked. Your computer will shutdown in a while. What is that??

    sounds like a fake message trying to entice you into buying some sort of virus protection. Did the computer actually shut down on its own?

    Anytime a popup message like that appears while surfing, just press the X too close the window.

    Yep, fake message but I'll bet you were using IE? Download Firefox... it has better built in protection against unwanted pop-ups and spyware.
