    Blue Screen when I try to hibernate.
    When I try to hibernate my computer, it says preparing to hibernate, then blacks out and goes to the blue screen. At the bottom of the screen it says hiber-ati.sys and a bunch of numbers and letters. How do I fix this? It's a windows xp desktop computer by the way.

    See if any info here helps or sounds familiar
    STOP 0x0000008E error message on a blue screen and your computer does not enter hibernation or standby after you remove an IEEE 1394 storage device

    Other than info above, would have to think there is a driver issue somewhere

    Anything new installed right before this started happening

    Hardware, software

    Is this just recent,
