    Drawing and saving a line in Excel 2007
    I have drawn a pivot table in Excel 2007 and under it have names of students. I have drawn lines linking the students names to different cells. I saved my work on my memory stick but when I open the document on another computer the lines are not there. Please help

    There's no special trick to saving drawing objects other than what you have stated above.

    First rule of "thumb" is do not work directly on thumb drives... I would work on the hard drive and open / close from there. Then copy to the thumb drive for transport.

    To me it sounds like you didn't actually save those lines. Simple enough to test. Open a new workbook, draw some lines, save this NEW workbook to your thumbdrive, close Excel, then reopen it. The lines should be there.

    If they truly aren't, then something is wrong with your physical computer/Excel installation and you should reinstall.
