    Comparing data in multipe spreadsheets
Our school is tracking student data in excel on multiple worksheets. Is there a way to do a sort and get all the data on one student for these multiple worksheets?

    Lots of ways.

What are the layouts of the external docs?
What's the common piece of info? Student ID?
What's the proposed layout of this compilation sheet?

Can you upload samples so we're not just tossing ideas into the air.

Hello, if you simply want to combine or sum data from multiple locations, one thing you could do is use the "Combine..." feature in Excel. That's under Data > "Combine...". It essentially refers to the data sources you point it to and gives an output in a new location.
