    How do I find out if someone has died in a home?
    I work in a home in Portland Maine. I work overnights so its just me in the house. All of the clients are sleeping. They are also all deaf. No matter where I am in the house, I always feel someone is right behind me. I see and hear things as well. The downstairs is even creepier than the rest of the house. It makes work unbearable most of the time. I want to find out more history about the house. As far as I know since the company that owns it has had it (15 years I think) Nobody has died here. But I know there is some serious crazy energy in this place. Anyone have any suggestions for me?

    This thread would likely get more answers under the topic of paranormal. Perhaps FrChuck will move it for you.

    From just what I've heard, it really doesn't have to be anyone that died in the house. The property itself may be what you need to look at.

    Go to your local library, and check out the address, and any other info you may have. The librarian will likely help you get started. That may help you come up with something to get started on. You should even be able to bring up old newspaper articles.
