Who wrote the Bottle Pop song?
Does anyone know the original composer of that old camp favorite about not throwing your trash in my backyard?

I don't know that anyone knows who wrote it or where it came from. It is a folk song. Most campfire songs are folk songs. We usually don't know who wrote folk songs because typically, they began by being passed down through the generations by people learning them without there being anything written down.

Sometimes we can trace an origin of a folk song. For instance, like what the country or maybe even the city or town where the song may have started.

There may not even be one person who "composed" a folk song. It could have been a bunch of people just having fun around a campfire and each one adding to the melody and words. Some people might have thought that the song was good and then passed it on to others.
