Thanks,
Thank you so much, now all I need is the Down at the Balaneze artist and the Right Place Wrong time artist I'm all set. They were both featured in the Dazed and Confused movie, have the CD and DVD, but both songs were not on the soundtrack.

I think the first is Dr. John or John Spencer (both did a tune called "Right Place Wrong time"
As for the other, check your spelling on "Balaneze" and try googling it.
I find nothing for a song title with that word in it.

Thanks again rickj, I think the song title might be "down at the balaneese"?
Not sure, but I will try the Google search. Well, since we are on the music tip, would you be able to help out with a few more artists of these songs?
American Pie
Brown Eyed Girl
Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay
Cofe softly darling
Build me up buttercup
Lean on me
Sugar pie honeybunch
Do you want somebody to love?? Janis Joplin?
Splish Splash
Blue Moon?? The 4 Tops??
Lollipop
Pretty little eyes
(can't fight the) "Sether",? Alternative Rock-90's
Yeah, if you are not too busy.. Sorry to put a lot of songs on you like this, but every music encyclopedia site I go to just doesn't have what I need.
You seem to know your music so I trust your input.. Thanks again.

Here's the quick way to get them:
At Google, put the name of the song in quotes, followed by the word lyrics. Exactly like this:
"american pie"lyrics
Usually you'll see the artist right in the Google listings, but if you don't, click the first one and what you'll get is a webpage with the name of the song and the artist.
