    Urgently looking for a song
    I'm looking for a song that I grew up with when I was little
    I think the song started in late 80's
    All I know is that the main refrain was like this:'lord I wish you were here,you were here

    Can someone please help me,some say the name is WISH YOU WERE HERE by
    STONE AND STONE but believe me I looked every where on the internet and can't find
    Anything like it:confused: :confused:

    This might be a long shot, and you don't mention how old the song is or what genre.
    There is a line like that in the Burton Cummings song, "Break it to them Gently"

    As stated, genre would help a lot...

    I'm guessing this isn't a cover of pink floyds wish you were here... many bands have surely covered this song... but that's probably a longshot...

    Again... genre could help a lot. And be patient... you may need to come back for a few days while people dig.

    Right genre, right decade, girl singing, but not perfect match, as "Lord" isn't in the lyrics...
