    Name of old country song from around 1970
    For years I've been trying to find the name to an old country song from around 1970.
    The lyrics I remember are:
    "In his rhinestone suit and his cowboy boots"
    I could hum the tune... but I cannot remember anymore words.
    I know its not rhinestone cowboy.

    Can you remember if it was a female or male singer? Was it on CD or local radio? If on local radio, I'd call the radio station and see if they would know the name or they may give you a list of songs

    It was a male singer. I only heard it on the radio. To the best of my recollection I would have heard it on the radio around 1970. It had a the feel of a 1960's song. Maybe a Hank Williams or Buck Owens. Today I live in a small town, and we do not have any radio stations that play classic country... I don't think we have any classic country Guru's.

    Chuckles know that... try the internet free radio there are several there. I'd try CMT.com also they have a good search engine. Good luck
