    Statute of limitation
If a debt is covered by the statute of limitations the debt still exists and the collection agency can not win judgement. The debt still is still onrecord for 7 years ? Can a lien be put on my house?

Thanks in advance for any advise

If there is no Judgment there is no lien. The debt will remain on your credit record although you can protest it and request that it be removed if it is not your debt.

If the SOL has expired then it means that the creditor cannot pursue a legal remedy. Filing a lien would be a legal remedy.
