I signed without giving any information on myself. Does that matter?
Hi, I am currently bound to 6 month lease at a condo in Florida. I am a college student and am COMPLETELY out of money. I am actually going to be moving back home in Orlando to live with my parents.
I have three months left on my lease, and my landlord threatened that if I do not pay up, he will go to court. He said that it will go on my credit score and I will be financially ruined for many years. The thing is, when we signed the lease, I gave no information other than my first name, middle initial and last name. That is the only information he has from me. No SSN, no drivers license or anything.
My question is, is it possible for him to go to the credit company and have them put bad credit on my name... with only the information of my name? Wouldn't he need my social security number? Could he get it through the courts if he went to the court to pursue it?
    Thank you so much!
