Small claims
I want to know if there is a statue of limitations as far as small claims is concerned? From 2002 to 2006 off and on I was sending my now ex boyfriend money to stay in a hotel and supposedly money for us a place. I was to join him. But that did not happen. So is it to late to file? I can prove the money was sent if I can get copies from moneygram. They told me to send thirty dollars for the service.

So I assumed you want to recover the money you fronted him. Unless you have a written agreement your chances of recovery are very slim. He will say it was a gift and it's your word againist his in court. If you can prove this was a loan, written docs, the statute of limitations has not run out yet but where do you live?
