Questions ask civil court
I, ali the handyman agreed to repair and paint this building along with 6 other projects for this person. Total cost, $4600. This person gave me $1800. To start the job, with $2800.. balance. I had 2weeks to do this job. I had 3 projects to do with 6 days to go. I asked for more material money, and she fired me. Can I sue her?

From what you say, yes you could sue her.
As I understand it, you were on track to complete the work within the agreed-upon time frame, correct? Do you know why she fired you? Was the extra money you requested to be paid out of the $2,800 balance due to you or were you telling her that the material costs would be higher than the original estimate? |
