    If you during the weeks and months they have been trying to collect, did not come up with an agreeable payment plan, if they served you the legal papers of the court hearing, then you appear and attempt to make a offer at repayment ( maybe the judge will agree to your plan)

    But if you are legally served, if the judge rules, there is no way to stop it.
