    Friend took money, wanting to sue
    I have a friend that we had an arrangement that my paycheck would be direct deposited into their account. The last paycheck to get deposited they took and used and stated they would pay me back that Monday. They did not pay me anything back, kept telling me that they mailed me a check for it which I never received. They also informed me they were writing a check for my cell phone bill and did not. They have taken a total of $1085 from me. Is there anyway I can sue them for this amount?

    Well the first thing you do is setup your own account and change the direct deposit. Then you file suit for the amount of the last check. You can do this in small claims court. However, even if you do win (and you should all you need is a statement from your job that the check was deposited into that account), you still have to collect the money. The good news is that you know where he banks so you can attach the account.
