    Do you have ta appear?
    I received a citation for a credit card debt. The statue of limitations has expired. This make the 3rd thime they have tried this can they continue. Do I have to show up ? What can happen if I don't. Thanks J:)

    It depends if they have sold you debt to a new company it is just like you acquired the deibt on yesterday. If this is the case you are under the full jurisidiction of the laws of your state. Please rate this answer if it is helpful

    If you don't show up, they will win by default and have a judgement, the SOL will not even be mentioned in court if you don't show up.

    So basically if you don't show up they get a judgement then you have to go back to get it overturned
