Do you already have a business plan put together for your business? If you have already done that, you'll look much better to any financial institution that would be willing to give you a loan.

Once a person has "done their time" and paid their dues to society, they're free to apply for loans and grants, just like everyone else, from banks, municipalities, and other sources of money.

What kind of business is it that you're wanting to start, please?
