Most shipping is based on distance. On the other hand, UPS doesn't use zone 1 anymore, and zone 2 covers a long ways. They will supply you a chart or software. For lighter shipments to residences, the Post Office has better rates and likely will supply a chart too.

Many places charge a shipping and handling charge much higher than the difference in distances.

Who do you use for your shipping needs? [ 1 Answers ]

I have stamps.com right now, but it's $15.99/mo. I save more with click n ship, but when a package gets lost, it's a nightmare to get my money back with post office. Does anyone else use a good or free shipping service that you really like?
