    Janitorial Subcontracting
Stringer I hope you read this. You and Clough. I am considering subing some work from a Company from your neck of the woods. Capital Contractors from Chicago and wanted to know if you knew anything about them and what I should be careful of subing on a National contract?

Capital has been around for a while JD I didn't realize that they were subbing.

When you subcontract you have to pay attention to details, details, details. Read and take the subcontract to a lawyer and have him scrutinize it carefully. Read all the fine print and requirements that are expected of you.

Example: Are you required to handle a certain amount of business per year? Growth? What type of penalties are involved if any?

And most important... the financing. Always remember that it has to be good for both of you. They have to make a reasonable profit too but what is reasonable?

You need to again sit down and compute all your expenses/costs and overhead now and for the future and compare it to the figures that they are presenting... is there enough profit or are you simply going to be an employee in essence?

    Hi, jddollen!

Just wanted to let you know that I did take notice of this thread. Stringer knows much more about what you're asking in that regard than I do. But, thank you for asking!

    Thanks!
