    Cleaner/how do I get started
I would like to get started building a cleaning service (residentially first).I would like information on people who need assistance cleaning their homes.

How do I go go about presenting myself, as a professional cleaner looking to expand my services beyond residential cleaning.

I would need a contract (how to put one together),How do I bid on a contract? And where would I go for licensing?

    Hi, Alex mackell!

The first thing that we really need to know here, before any other information is presented to you, is if you could let us know how much actual experience that you have already had cleaning for people in order to make a profit for yourself.

If we know the answer to that question, then we can proceed from there in how to help you the best.

    Thanks!

From experience, I would recommend starting in residential and then once you feel you have enough clientele and are comfortable with the way your business is going, expand into commercial. Commercial is much harder work and harder to obtain accounts. Residential is much easier to get into and makes a nice profit right off the bat.

Once you get into the residential side, you can start asking for recommendations and referrals for commercial accounts. You should have a bid packet put together to present your services to commercial accounts. Ask some building managers if you could provide them with a free bid on their buildings and always follow up with a phone call after you submit your bid.

For information on licensing and other information on starting your cleaning business, you can read the following article: Start a Professional Residential House Cleaning Business

This should start you off in the right direction.

    Good luck!
