Xtreme White cream (Hydroquinone 2%)
Has anyone tried this cream? It's hydroquinone.
After all the mono scare with the patchy skin, I've decided to try hydroquinone. I'm a new user and I don't know what to expect!
Do any of you have any idea how it would react if I stay away from the sun? I live in Canada and it always rains here. With the coming winter, it will be the time where I would be wearing nothing but layers and layers of clothes. When summer comes along, I plan to use 70 spf sunscreen.
What do you think? Would it then be permanent as long as I stay away from the sun, or it would still return to my old skin tone?

Xtreme white did nothing for me. Let us know how you find it if you decide to try it yourself.

With regards to your other question, I personally think that if you are trying to attain a complexion lighter than your own real skin tone, then some sort of maintenance will always be required. But if you are trying to lose a tan or attain a complexion you had, say when you were younger then it will be easier to maintain the results by doing things like sun advoidance, sunblock, regular exfoliation and general good skin care etc.

I have heard of Xtreme white, but never tried it. You can look into the generic brands of Hq 2-4%. The lower the percentage the slower the results, the higher the percentage the higher the risk for negative side effects. Also, using retin-a can speed up lightening. You will still have to maintain with a skin lightener usually 1-3 times a week because of skin cell turnover around every 28 days, sun block, and limited sun exposure.

But are they just reviewing how quickly you receive it or regarding the product effectiveness ?
Well if you decide to buy, keep us posted with how it works for you.

So are you going to buy it, because besides me, it doesn't look like many people here have tried it?

I was using it about 18 months ago, it really did work and after my 3 jars ran out, i just did not order anymore. I was going through relationship issues and had other things on my mind. But i did order some more a few days ago. Still waiting on it. I wish i could show you pics but don't have any available. I say try it. I am dark skinned and in about 3 weeks i saw results. I am still lighter than i used to be, even after discontinued use. I am amming for a golden brown color sow it may take a few months this time. I eally think you should try it . Its only $40 for three jars on the site unless you find it cheaper somewhere else. If you find a good deal, let me know. Im hooked
