Remove dermal hyperpigmentation caused by Monobenzone?
Depending on which doctor I go to, they diagnose it as some form of dyschromia, ochronosis, and usually deep reticular dermal pigmented lesions.

I hate when they call all this hyperpigmentation "lesions" :(

Because then most of my skin is one big patchy "lesion". Yes it's hyperpigmentation that's a few shades darker than my normal skin color. My skin color before using monobenzone. You guys who have read my posts over the years, know my story already so I won't keep telling.

This doctor I saw today is going to try Qmed laser. My previous doctor prescribed Amlactin 12 OTC to save money, as getting it compounded is too expensive for just a little stronger. So that will have to do as a BID (bidaily) cream. My skin hyperpigments with most phenols like any percentage of mono, hydroquinone, mequinol, arbutin so I can't use those, sadly. With those, it looks like its not working until I realize it has made me more darker than I already am. And I'm violently allergic to kojic. Tretinoin causes accutane-like psychosis, including depression. And previous doctors tried deep lactic phenol and glycolic peels but that only hyperpigmented my skin unevenly, like black dots around each hair follicle all over my face neck and body including places TCA or phenol peel wasn't applied. The doctor said its too low, almost under the dermis. He showed me a picture of where the pigment grows from, the root of each hair follicle which is extremely deep in the connective tissues under the skin.

So, is anyone else dealing with this problem? I always have high hopes when I make a new appointment, only to be told it's difficult to treat and there's no cure. This last doctor said I will need multiple sessions of Qmed and if that doesn't work, they will have to sand my skin down to the raw tissue! I can't picture that being done for my whole body. My doctor explained it is done one arm at a time one leg at a time, front, back in sections, under IV, oxygen tube, and general anaesthesia because it is like being burned peeled and skinned alive.

Has anyone else had laser or other treatment to remove deep dermal pigmentation? How'd it go, is there hope for me or am I doomed to be skinned alive if I am to even out my monobenzone disfigurement once and for all?

There is no need for that. Ask for Q switcheed ruby Laser Treatment and after that Q switched Nd Yad. These both laser are able to penetrate deep down in dermal section (hair folicle) where the pigmentation takes place due to folicure reservoir of melanocytes. It is important that you please continue using Monobenzone our body can only resist the effect of monobenzone up to 6 months to a year also known as repigmenatation phase . Once the Repigmenatation Phase is over your body will again be completely pale, there won't be any repigmentation spots after that. If you are alergic to Retin - a cream do use Azelaic Creams which serves as sencond line depigmenting agents. Don't use + 30 % Monobenzone on face.
