Make your own skin whitening products
As most of you know (those who have read my previous skin whitening questions) I am desperately trying to completely depig. I've spent several tiresome weeks studying and researching skin whitening. At first my research showed that the only way to completely depig is to use monobenzone. I've also found that those who have used mono to completely depig without any negative physical side effects didn't use mono by itself, but they mixed it with another cream or lotion (usually one with a moisturizing effect). This allowed them to use the mono is a smaller percentage, thus eliminating the negative physical side effects (white streaks, spots, etc). For a while I thought this was my only option until I discovered that one could actually create their own skin whitening products.

My research has found that the main ingredients used in whitening products (not including monobenzone) can be purchased individually in powder form. Buying the ingredients alone can allow one to mix it with their favorite lotions or creams and still give them the whitening they desire. Thus, in turn, you are creating your own whitening product. . Hopefully this could be a better and more effective alternative to using monobenzone (mixed with another cream or lotion) to completely depigment myself.

The site that I've found most useful isbut this is no one way the only site out there. I will continue my research into this matter. Hopefully this could be a better and more effective alternative to using monobenzone (mixed with another cream or lotion) to completely depigment myself.

There are many suppliers out there, but you main problem is finding a suitable active. Monobenzene is proven to work (multiple peer-reviewed studies published) for COMPLETE depigmentation, like Michael Jackson. Other than that, what are you actually considering buying?

Im considering buying the bearberry powder and possibly the arbutin powder, but I'm still going to spend a few more weeks doing research and studies. That site isn't going anywhere so it'll be there by time I actually start the depigmenting process (yes, like Michael Jackson). It also gives me time to find other reputable sites to buy the ingredients from.

^Those substances are actually not as strong as mono and will likely not completely depig you--but you'll eventually fade back to your original color.

Those substances lighten but mono depigs--literally eliminates melanin (for lack of a better term).

You can buy mono in raw powder for and mix it with lotion as well as the other substances.

Really? Hmm... this puts a wrench in my research lol. Well then, I'll open back up the files on mono and start doing more research on that. If I decide to use mono (of course with a mixture of moisturizing lotion) then I'll still buy the bearberry and arbutin powders for maintenance to keep the light tone. Thanks for the info Vicky_D, it really helps.

^You're welcome, jammixmaster. That'd be a good idea. To use all of those ingredients to try to depigment your skin.

Only problem is I'm deathly afraid of using mono because I don't want to risk getting streaks or spots. I'm a very vain person and care a lot about my looks (one reason why I want to depigment) and I'm a very popular person on my college campus and nearly all of my popularity comes from my looks and style so I don't want to damage my rep by having streaks or spots. I care a lot about my looks and repuation.

Try mequinol. It can depigment but without the streaks from what I heard. I want to completely depig too so I have been considering making my own cream by mixing mequinol in its pure form with shea butter.

Has any of you bought bearburry before? What I got is kind of brown in colour and... it mixes in a funny way in my cream. As in... I can see the brown dots in my lotion. Is that normal? Just wondering.

That's what my homemade concoction looked like when I tried to make my own cream, little white flakes, it didn't mix well at all. If the powder doesn't dissolve, I don't think it's going to work.

Yes. Amlactin is one of the best AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) lotions that I am aware of containing 12% lactic acid. So it will exfoliate the skin as well as moisturize, helpng to make the skin become more smooth.
