    Has anyone ever heard of undecylenoyl phenylalanine?
    This is supposed to be a skin lightening agent anybody ever heard of it?

    Hi Simonek,

    I haven't heard of it either.

    It's basically a brand of beauty products known as: ALOE OF YOUTH MINERAl COSMETICS.

    called THE SKIN BRIGHTENING SYSTEM.

    undecylenoyl phenylalanine- is one of the ingredients

    They make the usual things : sin cleanser,toner,moisturizer spot cream etc...

    You can purchase them on Ebay...

    Yes it's a skin lightening agent. Its INCI name for Sepiwhite MSH(melanocyte stimulating hormone). Its better than arbutin, hydroquinon or kojic acid which are also skin lightening agents. Undecylenoyl phenylalanine inhibits production of melanin or MSH.
    Its definitely improves skin texture & color. You can buy Fixderma Epifager cream it has undecylenoyl phenylalanine 1.5%.

    1.5% Undecylenoyl Phenylalanine is not potent enough to show any remarkable differences, at this percentage consumers may receive very slight brightening after several months of use. But in order to receive 2 or more shades of lightened skin, the product that you are referring to must contain greater than 1.5% along with exfoliants in order for it be considered as effective. Especially in people who have light tan to dark complexions will require more, since only 2% of Undecylenoyl Phenylalanine was tested on naturally fair skin and had results.
