    White05--

Please remember that this is a volunteer site, and that there isn't always someone online at the same time you are to answer your question.

Unfortunately, I am just a moderator--I don't know very much about skin lightening. Just have some patience, and I'm sure someone will answer your question.

    White05,
Sammy didn't use pills to lighten his skin. "Whitening" pills do not work nor is it scientifically possible for them to work. Many will not answer because this question has been answered numerous of times already which can be found above by doing a search on this site. There are countless threads of others' experiences with all of the different brands, articles and links of verified scientific data and laboratory tests that proves the theory given from some lightening companies who attempted to create without any scientific evidence before they placed them on the online market. Sadly, the only people pushing the "miracle pills" are marketers trying to scam customers and potential customers, marketers posing as customers raving about results that never existed, and few customers who have used the pills while 99.8% also using other lightening methods to lighten their skin so the results are undetermined.

No matter how many pills you take that equals to or greater than your body weight + large doses of vitamin C and rose hip extracts to help absorption still will not work, and this is why: Because Glutathione is broken down in the GI tract and extracted in the urine = waste, thus unable of being absorbed in the blood to receive the side effect of lightened skin. Even after they have been digested and taken for 6 months, 12 months, or 86 months later... this will not improve it's effectiveness and most likely the only benefits people will receive from them if anything is softened skin which can be achieved in under 21 seconds of applying a nice quality $5 lotion from the market store. There's good reason of why doctors do not prescribe oral glutathione to their patients for this very same reason and unable to properly treat them with this method. So doctors use other methods of treatment that are not orally taken.

Yet, if they were actually able to work then everyone who have been lightening would have been able to easily solve their lightening problems instead of continuing their searc.n These pills have been on the market for years and yet still do nothing for anyone, and there is a reason for this. In otherwords, save your money and search for something that will give you genuine results and avoid the scammers at all costs. It has a very high failure rate. All I can say is that possibly taking the liquid or powder form of MSM (sulfur) along with vitamin C can help assist with removing melasma, brightening of the skin, and possibly help boost lightening results over time while used with a good and safe quality topical skin lightener and sunblock.

Starting with retin-a 0.025-0.05% retina is best and most recommended. It isn't a 100% fact that MSM can lighten (only in few theories) maybe give a little brightening and helps with melasma, msm can be found on Google.

Only try TCA 50%/Lactic acid 85% if you are planning to have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, serious acid burns from head to toe, and causing serious damage to the dermis and epidermis which may become permanent. Because this is what these will do from not beginning with low strengths that are tolerable for the skin, and melanin rich skin is more sensitive to these. TCA peels are not mild acids and lactic acid, which is a mild acid, should never be used at tca 50% or lactic 85% not until much later on and your gradually working towards this. Lactic and glycolic acid at lower strengths work very well too, higher does not always mean better and can do more damage than good.

Please read more about the structure of acids and how they operate, especially with skin that produces more melanin (not only black american):

You'll have to carefully read the articles that I had posted above, which were written by medical doctors and you can also contact and ask them for additional advice. I think it is best to study as much as you can before using them.

MSM/Sulfur Dr. Thienna Ho's "Unlocking the Mystery of Skin Color"
This is a book report of "Unlocking the Mystery of Skin Color" This post contains the main points of MSM skin lightening

**Results depend on what color you are to start. Also, the results start being visible in 3 months and progress there after. These people took more than 8 months to get these results.**

" SULFUR THE GIFT FROM GODS!"
The Greek word for Sulfur is theione meaning divinity and associated with fire, volcanos and explosives. Sulfur was sacred to Athena in her role as a healer. Burnt sulfur's fumes are deadly but can bleach cloth. Burnt sulfur was used to expel demons, is associated with cleansing of sins and hot-springs sulfur baths were thought to heal the body of sickness. Many types of beneficial medications contain sulfur.

She says DO NOT TAKE L-Cystein, Methionine, NAC supplements, or unsafe forms of Sulfur. They are dangerous in supplement form but should be consumed only in foods. MSM is the safe form of sulfur supplement to consume.

She says GLUTATHIONE is very important also in clearing toxins for lighter skin and health.

    THINGS TO AVOID
-Eating raw or undercooked: meats, eggs and fish darken the skin. They should be cooked well.
-Tylenol, antidepressants, steroids cholesterol lowering drugs, vitamin b12, folic acid, tyrosine, stress, smoking, alcohol and toxins in general all darken skin.
    -Soy and soybean products
    -Cyanogenic glycosides
-Grilled, charred or oil fried foods
-Iron cookware and too much iron or copper
-Photosensitizing agents including lemons and limes
-Dark fruits and vegetables, dark meats

    GOOD THINGS-
Drinking plenty of room temperature water
    -Frequent baths
    -Sweating
    -Steam saunas
    -Massages
    -Rest
    -Onion family
    -Cabbage family vegetables
    -Protein
-Fiber. Eat cooked oatmeal each morning
    -Eat less salt and sugar
-Stainless steel or enamel coated cookware
    -MSM Supplements and creams

Thienna states her hair became lighter using the method. More reddish. Also she says you can expect to get 10-15% blonde pubic hairs.

All in all the book did not offer much except the above hints. She talked about all our ancestors originating in Africa and migrating all over the planet. She talked about the environment, toxins and food intakes affecting their subsequent skin colors. She discussed some ethnic anomalies being the result of high sulfer content in the local water or environment. And then she talked a lot about nutrition in general. But she did not talk about her creams and supplements at all!

MSM -I have been using it in the Thienna Ho regimen format for over three months.. No improvement...

Its good for health.. I knew it wouldn't work because I had family using it for years for arthritis. But I still did it all over again.

Its not working. But yes, I won't leave it.. it helps with other things like skin overall health and nails.

Oh my god, does it mean ,there is nothing to lighten the complexion but I wonder how these celebrities are growing lighter
    Glutathione--- doesn't absorb
    Msm----doesnt help
    Monobenezene---makes vitligo
    Peels----makes darker later
Then what is there in this world which can lighten me 4 tones

    Lol @ white-

MSM helps with overall health, skin trouble, hair, nails etc. or so they say. It grows my nails fast but not my hair. I suffer from dermatitis. Doesn't do much for me in that department. I have been having MSM in super high doses as per Thienna Ho. I look uglier than ever! So its not really made me look beautiful. Although I can't say its making me uglier. Im sure it isn't. Just that I must be naturally ugly or soemthing or ageing faster. With all the spices and condiments like mono, benzyl etc. and crap that I have put on my skin in the last two years I don't blame my skin .

Glutathione as per research will lighten . Im sure it will but why don't people realise it needs to be in the form of glutathione on the cellular levels also to lighten.

By eating glut it will digest and the body will convert it into something else which may or may not be beneficial.

Injections seem promising to me but can't say. Glut up the *** is also a good option - theoretically its better than in the stomach.

Anyway. And there are products that are synthetically goig to help you lighten. Just no products which will naturally lighten you quickly.
