    Acne help
    Hy m a 19yr old black girl and I've had a terrible acne since the 8th grade.. it has done some numbers on my self-esteem.I recently bought the gentle magic skincare set the soap,lotion and the cream the thing is I have oily pigmented skin.will gentle magic help clear my skin?

    I had terrible acne throughout my teenage years and I'm now 21, I'm almost completely clear. When I was 19 I was wondering why I still had spots. Coming out of puberty made a big difference and believe me, you won't be like that forever.

    To make things a bit better, use a Tea Tree lotion in the evening after a shower, but not too often as it can dry out your skin which will actually (and confusingly) make the situation worse. If severe, your doctor can prescribe you some medication and special lotion to put on twice a day. It doesn't smell very nice.

    Also, If seriously making an impact, there is a laser treatment available and also a chemical peel, which can clean off your top layer of skin to reveal the fresh one underneath. That's something you should talk to your doctor about and certainly not rush into.
