I was having the same issue with the flapper not staying up long enough. I checked the bottom of the flapper and the plug on the underside wasn't in correctly. I made sure there was no water in the flapper and put the plug in correctly. Now it works perfectly.

I am not an expert and i think the solution has not been resolved. I bought a 3-pack of korky flappers. One of the 3 worked. The other two dropped early and one leaked. I don't know what the solution is. I have been trying to figure out the reason for some time baring in mind the above mentioned solutions. Thanks, brad gilton

Toilet Flapper Won't Drop [ 2 Answers ]

When flushed, my toilet flapper immediately raises to a 45 degree angle, but then it will not drop completely unless the handle outside the tank is pulled up (jiggling does not solve it). It drops partially, but then the chain is tight and it is does not drop further. Once you pull up the handle,...

Flapper will not close properly [ 5 Answers ]

 Hi, it appears that there is a lot of good plumbing advice here. Here's my problem. I have had problems with the flush valve on my 3.5 gallon one-piece Crane toilet for about the past month. I have replaced the old flapper, a white plastic frame with a cup on one end and a flapper on...

Flapper closes to soon [ 4 Answers ]

I have a low flush toilet that has a problem. When you flush it instead of pushing the handle down and walking away you have to stand there and wait for the water to drain. I took the tank top off and looked in side. This is the kind of toilet that has the floater that is a cylinder on the input...
